Risk Disclosure
Last updated: October 14, 2026
01General risk
Buying, selling, swapping, and holding crypto assets involves substantial risk. You can lose some or all of the value you put in. Only use money you can afford to lose.
This disclosure does not list every possible risk. Read it together with our Terms of Service.
02Price volatility
Crypto prices can rise or fall sharply within minutes, and some assets have lost almost all of their value. The value of what you receive from a swap may fall right after the swap completes. Past performance does not predict future results.
03Liquidity and slippage
Some assets and pairs have limited liquidity. Large amounts, thinly traded coins, or fast-moving markets can lead to a worse rate than the estimate, higher minimum amounts, or a swap that cannot be completed and must be refunded.
04Floating and fixed rates
With a floating (standard) rate, the final amount is set when your deposit is confirmed on the blockchain. It may differ from the estimate you saw, up or down.
A fixed rate locks the quote only for a limited time. If your deposit is late, confirms slowly, or does not match the quoted amount, the Partner may recalculate the rate or return your funds, less network fees.
05Irreversible transactions
Blockchain transactions are final. Once you send funds they cannot be cancelled or reversed by Atex Hub, a Partner, or anyone else. Check every detail before you send.
06Wrong coin, network, or memo
Sending to the wrong address, choosing the wrong network, sending a different asset than the one requested, or leaving out a required memo, tag, or extra ID can result in permanent loss. Recovery, where possible at all, depends on the Partner, can take a long time, and may involve a fee.
07Non-custodial responsibility
Atex Hub never holds your funds or private keys. You alone control your wallet. If you lose your seed phrase or someone gains access to it, nobody can restore your funds.
08Third-party Partner risk
Swaps and purchases are executed by independent third-party exchange and payment Partners. A Partner may experience outages, delays, errors, insolvency, security incidents, or changes to its services. Any of these can delay, change, or prevent your transaction, and Atex Hub has no control over them.
09Compliance holds and freezes
Partners run anti-money-laundering and sanctions checks. A transaction may be paused while a Partner asks for identity or source-of-funds information, and funds linked to illicit activity may be frozen or reported to authorities as required by law. These checks can take time and are decided by the Partner.
10Stablecoin and token risk
Stablecoins can lose their peg, and their issuers can freeze addresses or tokens. Tokens can have smart-contract bugs, admin keys, or transfer restrictions, and may be delisted or migrated to new contracts or networks. The same ticker can exist on several networks as different assets.
11Technology and network risk
Blockchains can become congested, fork, halt, or be attacked. Fees and confirmation times vary and can rise sharply. Wallets, browsers, and devices can fail or be compromised. Networks or coins may be paused or removed by a Partner at short notice.
12Regulatory and tax risk
Crypto laws differ between countries and change often. New rules may restrict or ban certain assets or services where you live, affecting your ability to use them. You are responsible for following the law that applies to you and for reporting and paying any taxes on your transactions.
13Scams and phishing
Scammers copy websites, apps, and support accounts. Atex Hub will never ask for your private keys, seed phrase, or remote access to your device, and our support will never message you first. Always check that you are on the real Atex Hub website before sending funds.
14No advice
Nothing on Atex Hub, including prices, charts, articles, and tools, is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Make your own decisions and consult a qualified professional if you need advice.
15Updates and contact
